Games we're crafting

Every game we make is built to be lived in. Here's what's taking shape in the studio right now, all in active development.

Bloomborne

"A cozy anime city life-sim. Fish by day, clear corrupted dungeons by night."

Set in Sakura City, a neon-lit, Japanese-inspired metropolis powered by the magical Prima Sakura Tree. You can fish, cook, work jobs, decorate a home, raise pets, and trade on a player marketplace. When you're ready for a fight, there are open-world mob zones, dungeons gated by Combat Power, and boss battles that pull you deeper into the story of the Celestial Dragons and a spreading Neon Corruption.

The studio

Small studio,
deep worlds.

We're called Jaded because we've played enough games to know what's missing, and we're stubborn enough to build it ourselves.

Jaded Studios is an independent team making games that respect the people who play them. We don't chase trends or trap players behind paywalls. We sweat the small stuff, the feel of a fishing line, the weight of a boss room, the warmth of coming home to your own house, because that's where worlds become places.

Whether it's a sprawling open world or a one-more-run mobile session, we build for depth, fairness, and the kind of fun that sticks.

01

Cozy meets challenge

Calm living alongside real stakes. Our worlds hold space for both the quiet and the climb.

02

Never pay-to-win

Our economies run on convenience, cosmetics, and clout. Never power. Skill and time are the only things that level you up.

03

Players, not metrics

We design social systems so people stick around for each other, not just the loot.

Mobile gets its own screens

Big mobile day. Trade, Marketplace, Welcome, Daily Rewards and Onboarding are all properly mobile-native now instead of shrunken desktop panels. Phones are locked to landscape too, so there's one layout to build against going forward.

An outside playtest turned up six bugs, and four of them were things we never would have caught ourselves. Our own accounts had all finished onboarding long ago, so that part of the UI had literally never appeared in any of our mobile testing. Fresh eyes find what familiar ones skip right past.

The Welcome screen is split properly now. Welcome always shows, with a news button attached, and the daily reward only appears until you claim it before collapsing into a small timer chip.

We also found the Marketplace suggesting sell prices that lost you money compared to just selling to an NPC. A Legendary netted 73 against 80 from a vendor, and the tax wasn't shown anywhere. That's fixed, and every tier beats vendoring now.

Spawn plate, onboarding arrow and zoom cap are queued for once the mobile phase wraps.

The Pet Dex has bloomed

Big pet energy this patch. Sakura City now has a full Pet Dex. Every species gets a numbered entry with lore and stats, and the ones you haven't found yet show up as mysterious ??? silhouettes to track down. Once you've owned a species it stays discovered forever, even if you trade your last one away.

Your pet inventory got a glow-up too. Pets show up as actual portrait cards now instead of a text list, and you can jump straight into trading with a nearby player or list a pet on the Marketplace right from its card.

Mobile players get all of it native, plus a cleaner HUD. There's a new time chip under the compass, a yen counter you can actually read, and tabs that finally sit in the right order.

The Job System is done

Big month. All 15 jobs across Sakura City are live and tested, with every NPC employer, task, and payout working start to finish.

The Pet Battle Arena got a solid upgrade too. Ranked wins now count toward your quests no matter what, so even if your opponent rage-quits mid-match, you still get full credit. Practice matches no longer touch your win/loss record either.

A few other things we cleaned up: overworld enemies now glide and turn to face where they're heading instead of stuttering around, so chases feel a lot better. Reward popups roll up into clean running totals instead of spamming the screen. And we fixed the Token Shop, so eggs and spirit cards bought with tokens actually land in your inventory now. Whoops.

Next up, summer is coming to Sakura City. More on that soon.

Our no pay-to-win promise, in writing

We wrote down our monetization principles so players and parents know exactly what to expect. Convenience and cosmetics, never power.
